Our AmeriCorps member Fiona has organized a series of picture books, graphic novels, and chapter books with a specific focus on cultural awareness, notable figures, and moments of resistance and change. Our aim is to provide an opportunity to reflect on our past, and dream of a better and more just future. The intergenerational relationships built through the mentoring program are immeasurably valuable, and we hope these books will allow all generations the space to learn, collaborate, and dream about the future.
