TTMP Visits the Statehouse for National Mentoring Month 2017

Mentees of our program were invited this month to read the Mentoring Proclamation at the Mobius Mentoring Month Celebration at the Statehouse with Governor Phil Scott. We also enjoyed lunch and walking around the statehouse together.

Positive Pie Pizza Party for Mentors!

Mentors from all three of TTMP’s programs were invited to eat pizza and reflect on their experiences as mentors courtesy of Positive Pie. Photos of mentor matches from the programs covered the walls and the place was buzzing with the excitement of mentors, families and friends sharing stories. We love opportunities for our mentors to meet and interact with one another because it shows how truly remarkable our mentoring community is, and thanking them with yummy pizza is always a plus! Thank You Positive Pie Plainfield!

On January 21st 102 people came out to celebrate the amazing mentors that volunteer with Twinfield Together Mentoring Program.  We enjoyed live music from talented Twinfield students, a delicious dinner, and a game of group scattergories.  We thanked our mentors with an amazing LOVE bar from Nutty Steph's.  

Twinfield Together takes a field trip to the Statehouse  

On Thursday, January 14th, five Twinfield Together matches took a trip into Montpelier to celebrate National Mentor Month.  The day was complete with speeches, an art exhibit at the courthouse, a tour of the statehouse and lunch.  We even found time to play a game of tag on the statehouse lawn!

On January 16, 2014 eighty-five people came out to recognize the power of mentoring in our community.  We thanked the 32 mentors who are currently making connections with the youth in Marshfield and Plainfield through the Twinfield Together Mentoring Programs.
