What matches are doing together...
Breona & Ginny
Breona and Ginny met as part of the Everybody Wins! program last year and are spending their first winter together as a Community Mentor Match. These are some ideas of activities they plan to try this snowy season...
- Go sledding
- Try ice skating with skates borrowed from Twinfield
- Shovel off part of our pond to slide across on boots
- Snowshoe in the woods
- Ski on easy trails, maybe the railroad bed or around our field
- Hopefully walk or snowshoe with our neighbor's puppy at least once. Breona loves him!
- Walk a mile down the road to visit pigs, chickens and kittens at Hollister Hill Farm
...and when the weather gets too chilly Breona and Ginny plan to stay cozy inside by playing cards, making magnetic poetry on the fridge, or learning to play a simple tune on the piano together.
