Who Are We?
The Mission of the Twinfield Together Mentoring Program is to provide all interested youth
in our community an opportunity for a one-on-one friendship with a responsible, attentive
and nurturing role model through a mentoring relationship.
Twinfield Together’s goal is to offer participants a broader worldview, increase exposure to healthy activities, and
increase experiences with positive communication and conflict resolution skills within a structured mentor/mentee friendship. Youth with a mentor will feel like they matter to people in their community.

Why Mentoring Matters
- Kids stay in school: Kids with mentors are less likely to skip school, and more apt to like it, increasing the possibility of continued studies through and after high school.
- More Respectful Relationships: Kids with mentors have a higher level of trust with their parents and a better sense of emotional support from their friends than kids without mentors
- Less Drug and Alcohol use: Kids with mentors are 46% less likely to use drugs and 27% less likely to use alcohol
